Jennifer “Jenny” Streeter is an incredibly driven sports reporter with over six years of experience. She aims to share stories that often go beyond the playing field from print, multimedia and on-camera standpoints. In her free time, she likes to explore her passion for photography!

Jennifer Streeter graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in May of 2022. She majored in Journalism and double minored in Sports Management and Communication. While at A&M, she was the head sports editor of the student newspaper and had an all-encompassing (on-air,on-camera and print) internship with TexAgs and TexAgs Radio. During her senior year, Paul Finebaum invited her onto his show to discuss Aggie Football during his first annual Back to School Week.

Jenny decided to pursue further education through earning a master’s degree. She got into the top journalism program in the country at Columbia University, in the heart of New York City. Packing up her life, Jenny moved to Manhattan for a year and graduated with honors while earning her Master of Science from an Ivy League school. During her time at Pulitzer Hall, she was taught by professors who worked at the New York Times, Sports Illustrated and Time Magazine. Work wise, she was the lead student worker for Columbia’s Athletic Communications Office and Multimedia team. It was here she learned the ropes of PR and developed a passion for photography, videography and social media.

Currently, Jenny is based in Dallas, Texas and serves as a Public Relations Assistant for SMU Athletics. She has also assisted in the production room for the Frisco Roughriders. Following this, she got called up to assist the Texas Rangers’ Communications team for the 2023 ALCS and World Series. Her most recent experience saw her on the Media Coordination Committee at the 2024 NCAA Men's Basketball South Regional.

In her spare time she works on freelance sports pieces for the Associated Press.
